サトウキビ抽出液のブタ免疫応答調節能(免疫学)

サトウキビ抽出液(SCE)による肥育豚の免疫応答調節能を検討した.SCE 20%と米ぬか油粕80%から成る材料を試験に供した.試験材料(体重1kgあたり500mg/日)を1週あたり3日間連続, のべ4週間離乳子豚に給与した.ナチュラルキラー(NK)細胞の細胞傷害活性, および好中球ならびに単球の貪食能は, 試験材料非給与豚に比べ顕著に上昇した.SCE給与豚では豚繁殖・呼吸器障害症候群(PRRS)ウイルスに対する抗体陽性率が対照と比べ低かったことから, NK細胞の機能上昇が本病の防御に関係すると推測された.さらに, SCE給与豚は, 非給与対照豚よりも7.87%高い体重増加を示した.このように, SCEはブタインネートイムニティー増強効果を有し, 病原体に対する抵抗性を誘導する.
