We have made the measurements of the temperatttre dependence of the nuclearspin-lattice relaxation rate 1 / T. of "Cu in La.CuO., YBa.Cu,0. and Cub. At 4.2 K,I /T. of La.CuO., YBa.Cu.0. and Cu0 are about 5 X 10'sec ', 5 X 10' sec-' and3 X 10 ' sec ' respectively. The sFtarp temperature dependence ol' 1 /T, has been ob-served in Cub, while in La.CuO. l / T, has exhibited a T '-' deperrdence below 4.2 Kand has become nearly temperature independent above 4.2 K. lrr YBa.Cu.0, 1 /T.has exhibited a weak temperature dependence with nearly T"' dependence. The ob-served behaviors in CuO are in general accord with the theoretic;ul prediction basedon the spin wave picture if we tztke its low dimensional nature into account whilethose in other two compounds are not consistent with the theoretical prediction.NMR, antiferromagnet, nuclearspin-lattice relaxation time, spin excitation
