The "'U NI6ssbatzer effect of U02 has been investigated in the tertaperattrre range f'roraa 5.4 Kto 280 K. Ntuclear Zeetaaan splitting of the "'U ntrcletrs in antif'errotnagnetic U02 at 5.4 K is59.1 i3.9mnas ' and corresponds to the valtre of 252.3:[0,5T obtained by the"'U pvtlsed NNIRtechniqtne. The ntuclear naagnetic ttaornent of the first excited state (I -:: 2") of "'U has beendetermined to be 0.254:l: O.O15px. The conversion factor of 4.27 f O.28T/IIIITIS ' enables us todeternaine the hyperfine unagraetic field at the "'U ntrcletrs tmsing "'U lNzI6ssbatrer spectroscopy.The tertaperattrre dependence of the recoil-free fraction of the "'U IVIbssbatrer effect in U02 hasbeen disctrssed.
