Pseudo Spin-Gap in Single-Layer High-T_c Cu Oxcide HgBa_2CuO_<4+δ>

We observed the pseudo spin-gap behavior of spin excitations in lightly doped single-CuOz-layer HgBaz CuO,j;,5 (T. = 50, 72 and 80 K) using the Cu NMR spin-echo technique. The resultsindicate that lightly doped high-T. Cu oxide inherently possesses the pseudo spin-gap.
