Copper NMR and NQR in La_<2-x>Sr_xCuO_4-No Evidence for Coexistence of Magnetic Ordering and Superconductivity down to 1.3 K

Nuclear magnetic/quadrupole resonance (NMR/NQR) has been observed for theCu nuclei in La. .Sr,Cub.. NMR measuremertts have been carried out for thepowdered sample whose c axes are aligned. No evidence for magnetic ordering was ob-served down to 1.3 K. Instead, the existence of two sets of ""'Cu resonances due tononequivalent Cu sites has been concluded from the results of spectrum and relaxa-lion measurements at low temperatures.
