Low-Frequency Spin Dynamics in La_<1.85>Sr_<0.15>CuO_4 Derived from T_1 of ^<63>Cu Measured up to 800K

• Nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/V'l of "Cu was measured from LOOK to 800K inLl1.85SI0.l5CllO4, and is compared with the previous result of the parent compound LazCuO,j.There exists a distinct difference in the values of l /V'l at high temperatures between the metallicL&l.85SI0.l5C1l04 and the insulating L2L2CllO4. The contribution of an antiferromagnetic modearound q N Q : ('tv/a, 7T/G) to l/'Z'l ((1/V'l)AF) was evaluated. The extracted rate (1/'Z'l)AFshows a broad peak at T' N 300 K. The value of (1/TIT)AF follows the Curie-Weiss law C/(T%0)above and below T". This result suggests a crossover from the high-temperature regime withnegative Weiss temperature 0 to the low-temperature regime with positive 0.
