Temperature Dependence of the Sublattice Magnetization in Antiferromagnetic V_4O_7-^<51>V NMR

The phase-coherent NMR technique has been utilized to investigate the tem-perature dependence of the staggered magnetization in the antiferromagnetic stateof V.0.. The hyperfine field acting on the "V nuclei associated with the singletspin paired V" sites is extrapolated to be 1.96f0.02 k0e at 0 K. The fractionalchange in the hyperfine field which corresponds to that of the staggered magnetiza-tion is compared with the normalized temperature dependence of the magnetiza-tion based on the molecular field theory with S=1/2. The N<Set temperature isdetermined to be 33.0.f0.5 K.
