^<59>Co NMR Observation for Compound Formation at Interface of Co-Sb Multilayered Film

The interface magnetism of Co-Sb multilayered films with artificial super-structure has been studied from the "Co NMR. The NMR signals from thenonmagnetic interface regions were successfully observed, distinctly separatedfrom those from the ferromagnetic interior regions. The pattern of the spectrumsuggests the possibility of the formation of a two-dimensional compound at theCo-Sb interface, where the local symmetry of Co atoms may have a similarstructure as CoSb. or CoSb..
