Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Study of the Pseudobinary Compounds,Y (Ni_<1-x>Co_x)_2

The Knight shift (A) and the spin-lattice relaxation time (7'.) of "Co nuclei havebeen measured in the weak Pauli paramagnet, Y(Ni. .Co.).. The values of K and(T. T)- ' for small x are larger than those for large x and they are insensitive to T andnearly constant, while the susceptibility increases with increasing x. These anomalousphenomena are explained by the change in the density of state of the Y atom and the3d atom with x.
