Antidiabetic activity of Fuscoporia oblique in KK-Ay mice

Fuscoporia oblique(FO)の抗糖尿病作用を遺伝的2型糖尿病モデル動物であるKK-Ayマウスで検討した。FO(100mg/kg)はフルクトースおよびマルトース負荷後の血糖値を低下させた。また,FOはKK-Ayマウスの血糖値を投与後4時間に低下させた。FOの連続投与は投与後6週間において血糖値の低下が見られ,血漿インスリン値を低下させた。しかし,正常マウスには影響を及ぼさなかった。FO連続投与後のインスリン負荷試験において,FOはインスリン負荷後の血糖値を有意に低下させた。以土のことからFOの血糖低下機序としてインスリン抵抗性を緩和することにより,インスリン値を低下させ血糖値を下げるものと考えられた。
