Measurements of magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity, thermoelectricpower and thermal expansion have been performed on the half-metallic magnetUNiSn. A second-order transition from a paramagnetic semiconductor to an anti-ferromagnetic metal takes place at T.= 47 K without any significant lattice deforma-tion. Unlike in the usual antiferromagnets, the cttrve of magnetic susceptibility sharp-ly turns up at T.. Magnetic fields up to 13.5 T have no significant influence either onT. or the semiconducting euuergy gap. On the co?ttrary, hydrostatic pressure increasesT. at a rate of dI./dp=0.50K/kbar, but suppresses the gap energy at a rate ofc1E./ d p= -0.6 meV/ kbar. Thermoelectric power has an extremely sharp peak at 42K, which is 5 K lower than T..
