Effect of Pressure on the Curie Temperatures of the System (Fe_<1-x>Ni_x)_2P

The Curie temperatures of the system (Fe. .Ni.).P have been m<:asured as afunction of pressttre up to 5 kbar. The pressure effect on the Curie' temperature8T./8p is - 3.46 x 10 ' deg. bar ' for FezP, and its value increases sharply withincreasing x and becomes zero at about ,v=0.3. The pressure effect on the exchangeinteractions in Fe.P is discussed Ioriefly according to the concentra1.ion depend-ence of 8T./8p in the system (Fe. -.Ni,).P.
