Magnetic Properties of (Cr_<1-x>Ni_x)_2As Single Crystal Compounds

Measurenaeuats of magnetization autd susceptibility 'vere ntade on the hexagoztal(Cr. -,Ni,).As single crystal couttpou?ads. The compotands were arttiferromagzteticfor 0.4<,r<0.45 and ferronaagnetic for 0.45<,v<0.7. The concentratiora depend-ences of the magnetic transition teanperature, the saturation naagnetizationa andthe second order anisotropy constant at 4.2 K show naaxinaa of 188 K (7'.),1.I9un pCI formula unit and 1.46><1O'crs/cm' at x=O.5, reszvectivelv. TheCurls constant is independent of x for 0.375<,v<?O.5, while it decreases withincreasing x for ,v>0.5. The naagnetization curvc:s in the antiferronaagneticconapounds at 4.2K have relatively low critical fields. The conapound of x=O.425shows an unusual tmag?cetization curve. The results were briefly?discussed onthe basis of the theory of spin fluctuations.
