Specific laeat, resistivity and ac- and dc-magnetic susceptibility measurementsrevealed tlaat Th,Ni,Sn. is a new superconductccr w'itla tlae transition temperature7'.=1.38K. The electromaic specific laeat coefficient y is 31.1 mJ/K'mol-f.u., theDebye temperature O. is 255 K auad the electron-pltonon coupling constant 2.. is 0.43.The upper critical field H.. deterxnined by ac-susceptibility in magnetic fields followstlae temperature dependence calculated by Helfand and Werthamer. We concludethat Th,Ni,Sn. is a BCS-superconductor of type-II witlt the GL parameter tc= 10.Both susceptibility enhancement probably due to sjcin fluctuation and anomalous torn-perature depende'nce of the resistivity suggest tltat the conduction electrons wit]? d-character play an essential role in tlae supercondt?ctivity.[Th,Ni,Sn., type-II superconductivity, specific heat, H.., resistivity, magnetic ll susceptibility.l
