• Measurements of mannetization and maznetic suscertibilitv were made oncomr>ounds (Crm-.Ni,)zP (0.35<,XI'<l). These comr>ounds have an orthorhombicstructure for 0.35<,v<0.5 and a hexasonal structure for .X'>0.55. In the ortho.rhombic r>hase, the comr>ounds are ferromasnetic for 0.45<,v<0.5 and par-amaznetic for 0.35<,x<0.43. The Curie temnerature and the spontaneousmaunetization decrease rar>idl>' with decreasins x. The Curie constant is almostinder>endent of x. For the hexa:onal structure, the compounds are Pauliparamagnets.
