The electrical resistivity and the magnetization of CeZn. have been measured.Kondo anomaly is found in the electrical resistivity and the magnetization shows avery large magnetic anisotropy and metamagnetic transitions with three steps only forfields along #-axis. The saturation magnetization per Ce is 1.75 p. at 1.3 K and 4.2 K.These results are briefly discussed with a recent theory of Kondo effect and a simplethermodynamical model.
