Electrical and Magnetic properties of Eu_xYb_<1-x>Alloy

The magnetization, electrical resistivity p, the pressure effects on p andmagnetoresistance of Eu..Y b. .. alloy have been measured in the range 0. 5< x< 1 . Thesample of ,v>0.5 show bcc crystal structure at room temperature and antifer-romagnetic and metallic conduction states with small positive magnetoresistance incontrast to those of x< 0.5 having fcc crystal structure, spin glass and semiconductingwith large negative magnetoresistance. In this paper the experimental results over thewhole range (0<,v$ 1) are summarized.
