Effect of Hydrostatic Pressure on the Superconducting Transition Temperature of (La_<1-x>Ba_x)_2CuO_<4-y> with X=0.075

The pressure dependence of superconducting transition temperature T_c of (La_<1-x>Ba_x)_2CuO_<4-y> with X=0.075 was defermined under hydrostatic pressure up to 20 kbar. It is found that T_c linearly increases and the width of transition is broadened with pressure. The pressure enhancement of T_c is interpreted as being a support for the suggestion that T_c is correlated with the copper-oxygen distance.
