Nleastrrernents of resistivity p, Hall coefficient 7?]T, tnagnetic susceptibility X, znagtaetization, specific heat C atad naagraetoresistarnce have been perforuaaed on the laexagonal ferromagnetsCeTSb (T:Pd,Pt) and the isostrvxctvxral cotaapotunds LaTSb trsizag single crystalline sanaples.Strong anisotropy in p, pc >p., was observed f'or botlx the Ce cornpotznds as well as theLa conapounds. However, Rll('Z') for CeTSb does z'xot exhibit strong anisotropy between H7aand H7c. Tlae ennisotropic behavior of ,((T) for tlte Ce conapounds is well reprodvxced by thecrystalline electronic-field naodel. The analysis of' X('7') suggests that the ferrornargnetic exchangeinteraction along the c axis in CePdSb is ttatrch stronger than that in CePtSb. lVIagnetizationtmeasuretnents reveal that the saturated unagnetic naornents of 1.32 #B and 0.91 p.5 for CePdSband CePtSb lie within tlae c plane in the ferrounagnetic state. The C(T) for CePdS]c showsa clear jump at T0:: 17.5 K in additioua to 21 broatd peak arotrnd 10 K. These results suggestthat one dinaensional tnagnetic order along the c axis occurs in CePdSb at V'C -:l: 17.5 K andthree-dirnensional order develops only below 10 K. It is f'ound tlaat p. increases beloxv 8 K and6 K for CePdSb and CePtSb, respectively, and R?3 (H j a, I 7 c) also increases below 10 K f'or bothcompounds. Unlike 1lSL18.J ferromagnets, Clue transverse arad lozagittrdinal rnagnetoresistances inthe ferromagnetic states are largely positive for H7a. These untrsttal transport projcerties tnaybe ascribed to the 211101112110118 spin dynamics in the ferrormagnetic state of the present systenaas.
