Effect of Magnetic Field on Density Distribution of Injected Plasma in Semiconductor Rods

The changes in the density distribution of an injected plasma along a semiconductor rod and the anomalous increase in the terminal voltage in a magnetic field are interpreted in terms of carrier loss which is caused by the piling-up of the plasma at the surface due to the Lorentz force and the surface recombination.
