From the leaves of Buddleja americana L., a new iridoid glycoside, nigroside 3 (IV) was isolated, together with martynoside (I), acteoside (II) and linarin (III). The structure of IV was determined to be 6-0-(4-0-cinnamoyl-a-L-rhamnopyranosyl)aucubin,. on the basis of chemical and spectral data.
