Magnetic Structure of (Ba_<1-x>Sr_x)_2Zn_2Fe_<12>O_<22>(x=0-1.0)

Neutron ana x-ray diffraction studies ana magnetization measurements werecarried out on single crystals of (Ba.-,Sr,).Zn.Fe..0... The substitution of Blby Sr produces two effects on the crystal structure: a lattice deformation aroundthe Sr tons and a redistribution of the Zn and Fe tons in the tetrahedral sites. Themagnetic structure is analyzed in consideration of these effects : Spins are bunchedin the form of ferrimagnet in the every (T.,.ST.,.) block and the bunched spinsmake an angle 4., between the adjacent (T.,.ST.,.) blocks. At 294 K, the turnangles $g's are found to be 0' (ferromagnetic), 0'< 4g< 180' (helical) and 180'(antiferromagnetic) for 0<.X'<0.5, 0.5<,v<0.8 and 0.8<.v<1.0, respectively. Abrief discussion on the exchange interaction of this spin system is given.
