A New Oxide Spin Glass System of(1-x) FeTiO_<3-x>Fe_2O_3.II.Neutron Scattering Studies of a Cluster Type Spin Glass of 90FeTiO_3-10Fe_2O_3

The spin correlations in a cluster type spin glass of 90FeTi0.-10Fe.03 havebeen studied by neutron small and high angle scattering from a single crystal.The magnetic correlations of the moments parallel and perpendicular to thec axis,<.SJ .51.) and<.5! .5"..>have been separately determined and the spinconfiguration inside the cluster as well as the cluster configuration have beendetermined. The spin glass transition temperature has been found to correspond tothe temperature where the spin axis inside the cluster aligns in the c axis and theantiferromagnetic modulation starts to occur inside the cluster.
