A New Oxide Spin-Glass System of(1-x) FeTiO_<3-x>Fe_2O_3. IV.Neutron Scattering Studies on a Reentrant Spin Glass of 79FeTiO_3-21Fe_2O_3 Single Crystal

The spin correlation in a reentrant spin glass of 79FeTi0.-21Fe.0. has beenstudied by neutron scattering from a single-crystal. The spin correlation paralleland perpendicular to the c-axis has been separately discussed. It has been foundthat the squared Lorentzian type spin correlations between perpendicular corn-ponents develop below the ferromagnetic transition temperature. The reentrantspin glass transition temperature defined as the temperature where the magnetiza-Lion starts to decrease has been found to correspond to the temperature where theparallel (transverse) components appear and the system is devided into largedomains with the canted spin structure.
