Change of gibberellin and abscisic acid content during fruit development of Prunus persica

The change of endogenous gibberellin and ABA content was measured during the fruit development of Prunus persica. GA_5, GA_<32> and two unidentified gibberellins, were found throughout the developmental stages. GA_5, GA_<32> and ABA showed maximum peaks in their content sixty days after full bloom, which suggests that they play important roles in fruit development.
