The Anomalous Behavior of the Coercive Field in Lossy KH_2PO_4

The D=E hysteresis loops have been observed between 10-" Hz and 60 Hz forlossy KH.P0. crystals with different dielectric losses at room temperature. Thecoercive fields of these crystals show maxima at the same temperature T, charac-teristic of the frequency of the applied field. In a certain temperature region belowT, the coercive field increases with decreasing the frequency of the applied field.It turns out that these anomalous temperature and frequency dependences ofthe coercive field are closely related with the formation of the internal bias fielddue to the locally relaxing defect.
