Magnetotransport studies of GaAs/Al.Ga. .As superlattice having a tailoredFermi surface of a weakly corrugated cylindrical shape have revealed an angulardependent mangetoresistance oscillation effect similar to the one recently found inquasi-two-dimensional organic conductors. The present observation provides anevidence that the effect should commonly occur in a general class of nearly two-dimensional electron systems. Transport behavior has been studied both in the vertical andlateral direction of the superlattice, and is discussed in the light of our semiclassicalcalculation recently reported.
