On the Temperature Dependence of the Hall Resistance in Low Carrier Density Metals

A model calculation of the Hall factor for a metallic system xvith a small Fermienergy has revealed that it can lead to a significant temperature dependence of Hallcoefficient even when a single parabolic band contributes to electrical conduction.The present result gives a natural explanation for the behavior of temperaturedependence of the transport properties observed in GaAs / Al..Ga, .As superlattices.
