We have rtaeastrred the longittzdin;'vl na?tgnetoresistance p.. of' graphite in high naagnetic fields ofup to 'v37 T at low teraaperattures down to x0.6 K. A drataaatic iracrease in p.. xvas nexvly ['otrndin the high-field-loxv-teraaperattrre region. XN7e have also fotrnd jcronainent non-ohnuicity in tlaecturrent-xroltage characteristic in p.. over tlte relev?rnt rtaagnetic-field-teunjcer?tttrre region. Thisraon-ohnnic behavior is renainiscent of sliding taaotiora of a pirarned claarge-densit.yz xvave or spindensity wave, the direction of xvlaich is naatinly par?tllel to tlae c-axis. This utaagnetoresist?tnceanou?aalv cotrld be attribtrted to 21 naa:taetic-field-indtrced 2Ar-tvtce instaxlcilitv due to the one-diunensionality catrsed by Landau qtrantization.
