Far-Infrared Magneto-Reflection Study of the Band Warping in HgTe

Far-infrared magneto-reflection spectra were measured in HgTe in pulsed highmagnetic fields up to 40 T applied along the (100) and the<1 10) crystal axes over awide energy range 3.68- 1 17 men. Using a circularly polarized radiation, details of thespectrum structure were resolved. The anisotropy parameter y'. -7{=2.2f0.2 wasfound to be larger than previously reported data.
