In an attempt to understand angular-dependent oscillatory magnetoresistancephenomena recently discovered in organic conductors, calcttlations of magneto-resustance in quasi-two-dimensional systems were carried out in The framework of theBoltzmann transport theory. Calculated magnetoresistance curves show the angulardependent oscillations reminiscent of those fotxnd experiment;tlly. It is argued thatthe essential physics underlying the resistance oscillations lies in the angulardependence of the high field asymptotic behaviou- (saturation vs divergence) ofsemiclassical magnetoresistance which arises from Fermi surf'aee topology.
