Pulse-Duration Memory Effect in the Spin-Density Waves of (TMTSF)_2AsF_6

We investigated voltage-response wavefornus to repetitive ctrrrent pulses and found ptrlse-duration memory effects in the spin-density wave (SDW) phase of (TIVITSF)2ASF6; i.e., voltageenhancement at the end of pulses and rounding of the leading edge of voltage xvaveforrns. Theseelects are observed under electric fields larger than E-p throtrghout the temperature range from0.5 K to 4.2 K. SDW appear to "learn" the change of the pulse duration in the first pulse of thenew duration.
