This is a case report of a patient with acute pancreatitis associated with nonoliguric acute renal failure. This patient recovered after peritoneal dialysis and treatment of associated complications. It is recommended that careful evaluation of renal functions be mandatory in patients with acute pancreatitis. Determination of blood coagulation factors and pressor substances is warranted in such patients to elucidate the mechanism of the development of nonoliguric acute renal failure during the course of acute pancreatitis.
