By the treatment of the p-quinol acetate (IIa-c) with trifluoroacetic acid, (±)-domesticine (VIa), (±)-thaliporphine (VIb), and (±)-1-hydroxy-2,9,10,11-tetramethoxyaporphine (VIc) were given in good yields, respectively.
