The superconductivity in the first stage potassium graphite intercalation com-pound is discussed in connection with the electron transfer rate from potassiumatom to graphite layers. From this discussion together with the experimental resultthat transition temperature T. depends little on the K atom concentration abovea critical concentration, we conclude that the superconductivity takes placemainly on the graphite layer. The mechanism to increase three dirmensionalcharacter with decreasing K atom concentration is also discussed.
