Soliton-like excitations which preserve the charge neutrality are investigatedwith the model based on the pseudopotential theory. Two types of excitations areinvestigated: the one that has the t>ana gap at>ove the Fermi level ana the otherthat is a kind of the bound state of soliton and antisoliton and all states belowttte gap are occupied. These solitons are taken as metastat>te states tttat satisfythe stability condition and variations of electronic band structure in the sotitonrenion are fullv taken into account. The numerical calculations are performed inthe succeeding paper.
