NMR Determination of the Moment Direction in Antiferromagnetic V_2O_3

NMR determination of the direction of the magnetic moment in antiferromagnetic V_2O_3 has been made using a single crystal. From the external magnetic field dependence of the MNR frequency and the signal intensity, the magnetic moments are shown to lie on the hexagonal (110) layers making an angle of 71°±3° with the hexagonal c-axis.
