The molecular structure of the title compound has been determined by means of X-ray diffraction. C<SUB>26</SUB>H<SUB>25</SUB>Br, <I>M</I> 417.4, orthorhombic, space group <I>P</I>2<SUB>1</SUB>2<SUB>1</SUB>2<SUB>1</SUB>, <I>a</I>=12.713(1), <I>b</I>=14.998(1), <I>c</I>=10.156(1) Å, <I>V</I>=1936.3(1) Å<SUP>3</SUP>, <I>D</I><SUB>m</SUB>=1.43 g cm<SUP>−3</SUP>, <I>D</I><SUB>c</SUB>=1.432 g cm<SUP>−3</SUP> for Z=4.
