• X-Ray crystal structure analyses of three (acetylacetonato)organoantimony(V) compounds have been conducted. Crystals of [(acac)MeSbCl<SUB>3</SUB>] belong to the tetragonal system: <I>a</I>=13.865(1), <I>c</I>=24.935(5) Å, space group I4<SUB>1</SUB>/a with <I>Z</I>=16. [(acac)Me<SUB>2</SUB>SbBr<SUB>2</SUB>] forms monoclinic crystals: <I>a</I>=9.247(1), <I>b</I>=7.695(1), <I>c</I>=9.104(1) Å, β=106.94(1)°, space group P2<SUB>1</SUB>/m with <I>Z</I>=2. Crystals of [(acac)Ph<SUB>2</SUB>SbCl<SUB>2</SUB>] (high-melting point form) belong to the monoclinic system: <I>a</I>=14.733(11), <I>b</I>=7.541(1), <I>c</I>=16.014(13) Å, β=92.66(1)°, space group P2<SUB>1</SUB>/c with <I>Z</I>=4. All structures have been elucidated by the heavy atom method and refined by the block-diagonal least-squares procedure. Through the three compounds, the antimony atoms have a slightly distorted octahedral geometry with substituents on apical positions, slightly bent towards the planar acetylacetonato groups.
