Backscattered H^+_2 Ions at the Glancing Incidence on Au Target

Backscattered yield of Hj ions was measured for scattered angles less than 2.00when 500 -700 keV Hj tons impinge on a polycrystalline Au target with anincident angle 0.5'. The observed yield was well interpreted by the recombinationof diprotons leaving the target surface.
