A measurement of the anisotropy of the upper critical ficld H.. in an organicsurerconductor /7-(BEDT-TTF)213 is rer>orted. A larne anisotror>>' is observedwith high critical fields when the magnetic field is applied in the crystallographica-b plane and a low critical field in the perpendicular direction. (H'j.z9.7 k0e,H';z=9.3 k0e, H:5=46O Oe at 0.5 K) The result is expressed in terms of theanisotropic coherence lengths and transfer integrals, winch corroborate the twodimensional character of the electronic structure in this organic sup:rconductingmaterial.
