An organic condtuctor, (DMET)2ALlC1., was I'ound to undergo a superconductingtransition at 0.83 K at arnbient pressure. (DMET).AuI. on lltcr other hand was I'oundto undergo a supercondttcting transition at 0.55 K at a pressuu'c of 5 kbar. At am bientpressure, hoxvever, it apjceared to undergo metal-insulator tu'ansition at about 20 K.The electrical properties suggested tltat the superconducting pltase was located next tothat ol' a spiua-density wave. The transition to held-induced Sl)W phases could not bedetected by applying a magttcrLic field up to 5 k0e, in contra',t to TM'FSF salts.
