Iodine intercalated C.., 1...,C.., was studied by "0NMR above 160 K. A sharpNMR signal auad a strong tenaperature-depexadeuat sj:>in-lattice relaxation time, T, in-dicated a presence of C.. xnolecular rotation much higlter tlaan 10 kHz at least doxvntto 160 K. No evidence of metallic characteristics NV3S fouxtd in the NMR shift (143 f 1ppm) and the T. (4085 sec at room texaaperature). In K,C.., metallic behavior,T.T - constant, was observed at tlte carbota sites between 20 K and 100 K. Electrouaicdensity of states at tlae Fermi level, N(E..), in 1...,C.. w'as estixnated to be smaller tltan0.12 of tlaat in K,C.., assumixag a relationslaip betwecn N(E.) and T.T for normalnaetals.
