Conaparative sttrdy is presented f'or the ita-pla?ue angtrlatr effect of nnagnetoresistance of qtrasi-one-diunensional organic cotadtrctors, (DIIVIET)2ALlBI2 atud (TIVITSF)2C104. The rnagnetoresis-tance for the magnetic and electrical fields parallel and perpendictnlar to the naost conductingplane, respectively, NV2LS taaeasured at 4.2 K and Ulp to 7,0 T. (DIVIET)3AuBrz shows an anotaua-Lotus lutttnp in tlae field-orietatation depeuadence of the ra?agnetoresistance for the magnetic fieldnearly parallel to the most conducting axis and this is very similar to xvhat previotrsly reportedf'or (DIVIET)313. Weal< anozuualy NV2lS detected for tlae nuagnetoresistance of (TIVITSF)2C1O4 inthe Relaxed state, while no 2ll1OlIl2llV xvas observed in tlue SDW phase in the Qtrenched state.By comparing the zutrttuerical angtmlar derix'?ttives of tlae nuagnetoresistance, it is shown that thearaotnaly in the in-plane angular efl'ect cotatintrotrsly develops f'rom zero rnagnetic field and isclosely related to the qttasi-one-ditnension?tl Fernni strrface. A sitmple method is projcosed toestitnate the anisotropy of the transfer integral f'rorn the widtla of' the hunap anornaly.
