^<23>Na NMR Study of NaD_3(SeO_3)_2 by the First Order Quadrupole Shift

Temperature dependence of electt'ic fielcl gradient (EFG) at Na site inNaD3(Se0.), was stttdied by the first order shift of quadrupole interaction.The principal coordinate system of EFG at one Na site of the two rotates wjthvaring temperature itn the ferroelectric phase. The splitting of resonantce linesin the ferroelectric phase shows different behavior agaiutst temperature in differentdirection of' the magnetic field. Spontaneous polarization P. was measured ona temperature rat?ge from .just below the transition to - I27'C both along the aand c' axes. Results indicate that 7', rotates in the ac plane.
