Brillouin Scattering Study of the Polarization Relazation Time near the Ferroelectric Phase Transition in Triglycine Selenate under High Pressure

Brillouin scattering spectrum associated with the quasi-longitudinal acousticphonon propagated along the c axis of triglycine selenate has been observed inthe pressure region up to 5.45 kbar. It was found from the pressure variation ofthe Brillouin shift frequency and width that the polarization relaxation time inthe ferroelectric phase depends on pressure.
