Study on the Phase Transition of K_3D_XH_<1-x> (SO_4)_2 by the Raman Scattering of the Internal v_2 Mode

Tenaperature dependence of the 1/2 tnode in naixed crystals K3D.,H) .(804)2 was studied byRaman scattering from room temperattmre to 20 K, The v3 modes of both HSO,] and DSO.tons are observed separately. The frequency shift of HSO,7 ion, cu(HSO,3), below T. depends ontemperature as (1 - (T/T.))' with p : 0.25 i 0.05 when it is naeasured frorn the freqtrency at T..A discrete change in the frequency of DSO,] jtrst below T. is observed in the nuixed crystals andits origin is explained in relation to the interaction arnong dinaers, The temperature dependenceof the anomalous broadening of the linewidth above T. is explained well by a naechanism sirnilarto the rnotional narrowing effect in NNIR.
