Pair and Quasiparticle Tunnelings in Arrays of SIS Junctions Observed by Radio Frequency Noise

The influence of 35 GHz microwave radiation on the radio frequency (10 MHz 〜 500 MHz) noise in arrays of superconductor-insulator-superconductor (SIS) junction is investigated. Intensities of noise outputs show structures with voltage scales of 2hv/e for two junction arrays, and 10hv/2e for ten junction arrays which indicate that both the quasiparticle and the pair electron tunnelings occur in these arrays.
