Magneto-Acoustic Effect of Heavy Fermion Compound CeInCu_2

We measured the temperature dependences of elastic constants of the heavy fermion compound CeInCu. and the reference compottnd LaInCiu.. The transverse C..and (C.,-C..)/2 modes in CeInCu. exhibit monotonous temjcerature dependences.The bulk modulus C., however, shows an anomalous softeniuag of 6% below 130 K,which is in contrast to the normal behavior in LaInCu.. The anomalies of C, in CelnCu. indicate the coupling between the volume strain and the heavy fermion state witha large electronic Grtneisen constant Q.:50 at 5 l<.ultrasonic, elastic constant, CeInCuz, heavy ferumion
