de Haas-van Alphen Effect in the Autiferromagnetic Compound GdIn_3

We have measured the de Haas-van Alphen effect in the antiferromagnetic corn-pound Gdln,. The Fermi surface of Gdln, is almost the same as that of the non-/reference compound LaIn3. The cyclotron masses of Gdln, are also close to those ofLain,. These results indicate that the 4f electrons in Gdln, are well localized and thatmass enhancement due to the electron-magnon interaction is extremely small.Gdln, de Haas-van Alphen effect, specific heat, Fermi surface, cyclotron mass
